After the first three exclusive Google Assistant Devices, the AI now comes to a lot of Android M and N smartphones.

With the Pixel Smartphones Google announced their own personal assistant and in the beginning it was exclusive to those phones. Later with Android wear 2.0 the Google Assistant came to multiple smartwatches from different developers, and following that it came to the LG G6. Well the exclusivitiy is over since Google has startetd rolling it out to any Android M or N device in the US so far, other countries will follow. This video was posted earlier:

With this said at MWc questions rose who will get it when, this was said in this specific statement, which was published by Google.

The Google Assistant will begin rolling out this week to English users in the U.S., followed by English in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as German speakers in Germany. We’ll continue to add more languages over the coming year.

The Google Assistant will automatically come to eligible Android phones running Nougat and Marshmallow with Google Play Services.

So we just need to wait for our own personal Assistant. Since I’m based in germany it might take a while but you can be sure to check back here for a detailed look at the Google Assistant once it arrives on my V10.

There has been quite some rumors surrounding what Xiaomi will present at MWC, as it turns out a new Processor and the first Device powered by it, the Xiaomi Mi 5c.

Well the Xiaomi Mi 5c is official as of now, unfortunately I won’t be able to tell anythiung about how good the home-grown processor , called Surge S1, will perform since it’s the first device to run it. No bechmarks has bveen leaked yet, but the specs sound like a solid mid-range device, competing against the likes of Nokia and the Moto G5.

The most obvious part was the screen. it’s a 5.15 inch screen with minimal beyels and a pretty highly adjustable brightness. As you can see above it claims to have aboce 2000 adjustment levels to always display the right brightness depending on what mode you’re using at this point. We have a regular 3GB of RAM with 64 GB storage, a 12 Megapixel sensor in the back, no word on the front facing one. The Battery is a pretty buff one with 2860 mAh and fast charging mode. The Xiaomi Mi 5c will be available in black, gold and rose gold, for approximately 220 USD . And it will be running Android 7.1 .

For a lot of people Pokemon Go is still a fun game to play and after the last big Update developer Niantic teased new Updates at MWC 2017.

A few Weeks ago the popular AR-game Pokemon Go got its first major update introducing a bunch of new items and 80 new Pokemon from the second generation, originally revealed with Pokemon Gold and Silver back in the day. At this years Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Developer Niantic took the stage and said that there will be three more major updates in 2017. Niantic CEO John Hanke did not reveal anything about the upcoming contents and took no questions from the audience. The only thing he did reveal were some interesting Numbers. The international Pokemon tariners caught 88 billion Pokemon since its initial release in July 2016 and was downloaded over 650 million times. All in all folks spent 44 petabytes of mobile data for the digital hunting trips. Those are quite some numbers and the rumors what the planned updates will bring us are starting to boil. I for one hope vor some PvP action or trading , preferably with players from around the world in a marketplace kinda deal , so you can get those Pokemon that are not available in your Regions.

On Sunday the LG G6 was made official to the public.

As the leaks promised the LG G6 comes with a pretty bezel less design, providing the User with more Display at the same size as the G5.The back snapping camera comes with different aspect ratios, allwoing the user to take quadratical pictures, which are perfet for apps like instagram. The display has an 18:9 aspect ratio that allows you to take and view those quadratical pictures at the same time. Speaking of the display we have a QHD + resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixel on a 5,7 “ Full-Vision Display , that will be the first display to have the Dolby Vision technology for a better picture. In the same way as the G5 the LG G6 packs a double snapper on the back with regular and wide angle view and it will be the first non-pixel smartphone to have the google Asisstant. The Device will hit the shelves in south korea on march 9 and later markets will follow, unfortunately we don’t have a pricing yet but we will keep the page updated if there will be any Informations on that. If you look at LG’s histoiry we cann assume the price somewhere around the $700 mark.

A few days ahead of their press conference the LG Xpower 2 has been announced.

Lg has just announced their latest middleclass smartphone from the X Series. The LG Xpower 2 . As the name suggests it’s the succesor to the LG Xpower from last year boosting a huge battery. The specs are not that big but see for yourselfes:

• Octa-Core-SoC with 1,5 GHz
• 1,5 oder 2 GB RAM
• 16 GB internal memory, MicroSD card support up to 2TB
• Android 7.0 Nougat
• Main camera with 13 Megapixeln, frontfacing camera with 5 MP wide-angle lens and LED flash for both cameras
• 4.500 mAh Battery (not removable)

As you can see the only thing that is really different with this device is the massive 4500 mAh Battery and the front facing LED flash. It seems to be a good device for selfies, gaming and multimedia. The LG Xpower 2 will be coming to latin-america at the beginning of march, the other regions of the wolrd will follow from then. A price wwill be announced at the beginning of the sales.

Earlier we mentioned the launch of the Galaxy S8, and now we know by how far the LG G6 will get its headstart.

The LG G6 is to be announced this sunday, the press conference will start at noon (EST) and we will be liveblogging the whole thing. But as almost everything else of the LG G& now the launchdate has been confirmed. The LG G6 will reportedly be launched at march 10th and pre-orders will be from march 2nd until march 9th. With these numbers in mind, we know that the LG G6 will get a 42 headstart from the Galaxy S8, which will be launched April 21st . This could really make a difference in sales for the LG G6, if the marketing campaigns will be better than it was for the G5.

Another hour another leak before MWC, this time the Huawei P10 is shown in press renders.

The leading leak expert Evan Blass showed us the G6 eralier in a press render, now we get to see the Huawei P10. The images show us on the side that there will be a slot for the SIM-card so we can assume the back cover won’t be removable and that we could see a dust and water resistant device. It looks a bit more rounded up than the P9 but keeps the Leica powered double camera, which has been teased in several pictures so far. Aside from other flagships we cann still see the hardware home button, which i think is far overdone. Overall we see a nice phone with a matte finish on the back and a headphone jack at the bottom.

The Huawei P10 is something to look out for, since huawei has become quite the competitor in the recent market.

Well as I said previously, the leaks of the LG G6 just keep popping up, and this time we see all 4 sides in a black finish.

Well so here they are, the latest renders from the LG G6. It seems to have a nice glossy backside but will also feature Metal. The phone itself is pretty known by now with its unusal resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels, its huge 5.7″ FullVision Display and the fact that it is the first major flagship device from LG that will feature dust and water resistance.

The fact that these pictures come from Evan Blass show that it could be the official press material. Those are not high quality images, and you can see that they obviously have been cropped out of some other press or marketing material. Again we’re really looking forward to this years MWC to finally see it in its real full glory.

Well the amonts of leaked renders and photos of the LG G6 won’t stop. This time it’s compared to last year’s G5.

In the picture above we see the two Devices right next to each other and the differences in screen size are stunning compared to the whole sizes. The G6 with its 5.7″ screen looks about the size of its brother with only 5.3″ . This provides you with more screen in the same form factor. In the image we also see that LG descided to go with rounded cornors in terms of their new design idea. The LG G6 won’t have the modular design that the G5 had and will come as a dust and waterproof device.

The Phone looks pretty good to me and I am anticipating the official announcement at MWC 2017.

MWC 2016 is getting closer and closer, and we’re getting more leaked picturs of the LG G6 and its always-on Display.

Another day, another leak. This time we’ll get another 2 images of the LG G6. The first one shows the backside that this time appears less glossy and more in a brushed-metal kinda style. So it’s safe to assume we won’tget a glas backpan, or at least another option. The rest of this image is nothing really new, we see the double camera on the back, above the fingerprint sensor. What is new is seen on the next picture.

This time we see that beauty of a phone from the front and we notice first that the corners of the display are indeed rounded and we get a real good look at the bezels. It’s notable that the top one seems to be thinner than the bottom bezel and the sides are very thin. also i don’t see a button on the right hand side, so it’s pretty clear that the back-sensor is also the power button, which I personally really like. The last notable thing is on the software side. We can see that there will be an always-on display, just like we had on the LG G5.

Well with every leak i’m getting more and more excited about the LG G&, how about you ?
