Well the last Nokia Phones were only middleclass at best, but rumors say that HMD is working on a Nokia Android Flagship, called Nokia 9.

Well as mentioned the latest Nokia Phones were all below the 300€ mark, so they can’t quite be considered highend, but the latest leaks show that HMD Global is currently working on a Nokia flagship device. The Nokia 9 , that’s what it might be called, will feature real good tech including an iris scanner and audio features by Nokia Ozo. NokiaPowerUser has also leaked some of the alleged specs for the Nokia 9 :

And the list goes on suggesting that the Nokia 9 might even feature the Carl-Zeiss camera that we learned to love in previous devices. All in all this actually sounds to good to be true and we can’t confirm any of those leaks yet. It looks like we have to wait for future more reliable leaks.

The korean times apparently knows the update schedules for the LG V10 and the G4

An unnamed korean official has reortedly toled the korean times that the popular 2015 phones, the LG V10 and the G4 will receive their share of Nougat this year. The LG V10 will go first in the second quarter, so some time from march to may, while the G4 will get the update in the third quarter , so some when from june to august. Initially there were no plans for updates for those devices, since there were compability problems, but it seems they have been sorted out. I assume that korea might be the first market that will get the update , but we have no word on that. I for one will be looking forward for the Update for my own V10.

The release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is getting closer , so we see new leaks every day.

So the latest leak of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is a video. This new Video , as well as 2 more images, has shown up earlier showing the device from the front and the back. The funny thing about this short 5 second clip is that the device has a „confidential“ sticker on the back, that didn’t stopt it from being leaked.

The pictures i mentioned above show off the Devices large screen as well as what seems to be the first case for the S8.

In the second one we see the lock screen in an active state with a passcode being put in. So far all rumors have been consistent and the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a fingerprint sensor on the back, no home buttin and the large and curved infinity display.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be unveiled at the end of the month in New York.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been shown off quite a bit in the last few days, a new trademark reveals what the new display will be called.

In a recent application to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USTPO) Samsung has field a patent for the name of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Display. The huge screen with almost no bezels will therefore be called „Infinity Display“. The patent file also says that the „infinity Display“ will be used for „mobile telephones“ so we can assume that it will not only be the S8 and its bigger brother the S8+ . Maybe this Display will also be used in the soon to come Galaxy X series.

Well Huawei is getting pretty big right now, but the update policy has not been great until now. The Huawei P9 is getting nougat this month.

So anyone who is using a Huawei P9 might have wondered when they will receive the latest Android update with the latest Version of EMUI . Thanks to the indian Twitter account from Huawei that question has been answered. The company tweeted that the Huawei P9 will receive the next update within Q1 2017 . This means that the Update will come out sometime this month for everyone around the globe. That is a pretty cool news for all P9 owners. After the whole Note 7 drama , Samsung is pretty keen on quality ensurance, and now a new office for that has been announced.

After last year’s Drama and the following Lawsuits around the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 the tech giant from Korea has announced that they will open up a new quality ensurance office. The Ofiice will be led by Kim Jong-ho , who joined Samsung in 1983. He is an engineering expert at Samsung who contributed a lot to the smartphone branch of Samsung. In 2015 he was awarded the Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit for his contribution to expanding the electronics and IT industries, this price is the highest honor a businessman in Korea can receive. He is seen in the picture below.

With this new office the company hopes to never have one of the Note Dramas again, especially with all eyes on the Galaxy S8 and S8+ right now. Let’s hope that we will never have to worry about our phones exploding again.

We’ve heard about samsungs project Valley quite a few things, now we know the name it will get , Samsung Galaxy X.

The korean tech company has been experimenting with the Project Valley, a series of foldable smartphones, for quite some time now and we heard numerous rumors. Now it seems that there has been a huge step forward towards the user hands. Samsung got an official trademark for the series of Devices, that will according to rumors, also come in 2 different sizes called the Samsung Galaxy X1 and Galaxy X1+.

So it is still in application, but that might mean that there is an actual prototype soon to be seen somewhere. In case you were wondering , a roadmap shows that the devices could be here in Q3 or Q4 this year, so I’ll keep a very close look at samsung when at IFA this year. For those who haven’t seen the Devices pre-patent designs, here is what it might look like.

The BlackBerry Aurora is the first Blackberry Device to be produced by the new joint Venture BlackBerry Merah Putih , which has been formed last year.

It has already been wildly suspected that BlackBerry Mera Putih will release a dvecie for the indonesian market , but now the retailer Elevenia just unveiled the phone. The BlackBerry Aurora is now awavilable for preorder on their site , expected to start shipping tomorrow, on March 3rd. The device will be available in gold, black and silver and will be RP 3,499,000, which translates to around $260 in the US.

In terms of specifications, the BlackBerry Aurora offers a Snapdragon 425 clocked at 1.4 GHz and sporting a large, 5.5-inch screen at 720p HD, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. And will top that off with a Dual-SIM suport and a 3000 mAh battery to last you through the day.

No word yet if the device will come to other markets anytime , but if there will be news, you’ll read it here.

There has been quite some rumors surrounding what Xiaomi will present at MWC, as it turns out a new Processor and the first Device powered by it, the Xiaomi Mi 5c.

Well the Xiaomi Mi 5c is official as of now, unfortunately I won’t be able to tell anythiung about how good the home-grown processor , called Surge S1, will perform since it’s the first device to run it. No bechmarks has bveen leaked yet, but the specs sound like a solid mid-range device, competing against the likes of Nokia and the Moto G5.

The most obvious part was the screen. it’s a 5.15 inch screen with minimal beyels and a pretty highly adjustable brightness. As you can see above it claims to have aboce 2000 adjustment levels to always display the right brightness depending on what mode you’re using at this point. We have a regular 3GB of RAM with 64 GB storage, a 12 Megapixel sensor in the back, no word on the front facing one. The Battery is a pretty buff one with 2860 mAh and fast charging mode. The Xiaomi Mi 5c will be available in black, gold and rose gold, for approximately 220 USD . And it will be running Android 7.1 .

Earlier today we spoke about the first render Image of the Samsung Galaxy S8, now we gut real pictures, from multiple angles.

So BGR got their hands on exclusive pictures of he upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, showing it from all sides expect the back. Thosxe Images confirm the rounded corners, a Micro USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm Headphone jack and the designated Buttons. We see on the front that the typical Android Buttons and symbols have been replaced by samsung ones. A view of the bottom shows us the connector and the Headphone jack. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be announced at the end of this month and we will hope to see more of it before that. But without further words, feast your eyes.

Looks like a pretty thin Device to me and something to really look forward too. I wonder if the rounded corners will remain in the Galaxy S8+ Variant and if the rumors of two different devices from each might be true.
