Owners of the OnePlus 3 and 3T listen up, there’s a new OS in town: the Nougat based HydrogenOS.
The Android 7.0 Nougat OS for the OnePlus 3 and 3T has been released, but it’s not OxygenOS , this time it’s called HydrogenOS 3.0 . It’s not an OTA installation, and you need to flash and override the existing OS. The new Nougat version comes without any kind of Google apps , so you need to get your hands on thos too and is only available in english and chinese. The OS has been grabbed from the chinese versions of the OnePlus 3 and 3T and therefore it will come with a bunch of chinese apps you should just delete.
Users who tried it report that it has a better battery life and that you now have an inbuilt call recorder. The ROM has about 1.3 GB and you can get it from XDA or OnePlus . Both Links include ways to get the PlayStore, and if you encounter any Problems, there are a bunch of threads at XDA already. If you have tried it, feel free to leave a comment and share that experience.
