Just know Xiaomi unveiled their first global Device, the Xiaomi Mi4i.

Well that’s a first! The chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled their first global device today. The Xiaomi Mi4i will be available worldwide, starting with India at the very competitive Price of Rs. 12.999 which is roughly $200. Well in this pricing category one might ask themselves „what can I get for only $200?“ and here is the answer.

The Xiaomi Mi4i comes with a 5-inch full-HD display, 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (the second generation of it) with eight Cortex A53 cores: four high-performance cores clocked at 1.7GHz and four energy-efficient cores at 1.1GHz, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal memory, 13MP Sony/Samsung sensor with a f/2.0 lens (this sensor is known from the Mi Note) a dual flash, 5MP front facing camera with a wide-angle lense, dual-SIM connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and a massive 3,120mAh battery. That are quite the good specs for a phone with a price tag that low, wouldn’t you agree? But the nice features won’t end there. The 5-inch display I mentioned earlier is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and provides a NTSC 95% color Gamut, which is higher than what you get from an iPhone 6. Let’s keep focussed on the screen, with the Xiaomi Mi4i, the chinese company introduced a feature called „Sunlight Display“ which partially adjusts the brightness of your screen to provide you with the best possible detail while using the phone outside in broad daylight.

Well enough about the screen, let’s move on to the camera. Within the Xiaomi Mi4i are a couple of features that have been introduced with the Mi4, like the Beautify Feature, but this is not the one we know. With the new device also the Beautify Feature has received a small update with a few tweaks and to perfectly use the 5MP front-camera the Mi4i has a nifty little selfie timer, so you can get the best possible selfie.

The 130 gram light and 7.8mm thin phone will be available in 5 different colors: black, white, orange, blue and pink. The Xiaomi Mi4i is constructed from a soft plastic unibody and has a good looking matte finish on the back. The Sale, in India, will begin on April 30th, with Flipkart as it’s launch partner.
