The korean times apparently knows the update schedules for the LG V10 and the G4

An unnamed korean official has reortedly toled the korean times that the popular 2015 phones, the LG V10 and the G4 will receive their share of Nougat this year. The LG V10 will go first in the second quarter, so some time from march to may, while the G4 will get the update in the third quarter , so some when from june to august. Initially there were no plans for updates for those devices, since there were compability problems, but it seems they have been sorted out. I assume that korea might be the first market that will get the update , but we have no word on that. I for one will be looking forward for the Update for my own V10.

Well apparently the UI of the Google Play Store will get a nice little tweak.

As you can see in the Image above the Google Play Store will get a nice little UI tweak to make your life easier. It appears that the Update page now lets you update individual apps with only one tap. Previously you had to either update all or get on the app’s page in order to update a single app. It’s not the biggest update but it is a small step towards making your life easier and tasks simpler.

Well Huawei is getting pretty big right now, but the update policy has not been great until now. The Huawei P9 is getting nougat this month.

So anyone who is using a Huawei P9 might have wondered when they will receive the latest Android update with the latest Version of EMUI . Thanks to the indian Twitter account from Huawei that question has been answered. The company tweeted that the Huawei P9 will receive the next update within Q1 2017 . This means that the Update will come out sometime this month for everyone around the globe. That is a pretty cool news for all P9 owners. If you’re one of them, please let us know as soon as the update arrives.

In a new update Gmail now allows you to receive files up to 50 MB , doubling the incoming Data limit.

With the latest update on the G Suite blog we have been informed that you can now receive files up to 50MB . Previously it was only 25 MB without the use of Google Drive. It comes in quite handy if you use gmail for business purposes. The downside however is that the sending limit is still at 25 MB. So the increased cap will only work if the sender uses an email service that allows larger files than that. If you’re wondering in what scenario these numbers might be needed, imagine working in an engineering or planning office needing to send out multiple plans or pdf files. As someone who had to deal with this I really appreciate the efforts made by Google to upgrade that.

Owners of the OnePlus 3 and 3T listen up, there’s a new OS in town: the Nougat based HydrogenOS.

The Android 7.0 Nougat OS for the OnePlus 3 and 3T has been released, but it’s not OxygenOS , this time it’s called HydrogenOS 3.0 . It’s not an OTA installation, and you need to flash and override the existing OS. The new Nougat version comes without any kind of Google apps , so you need to get your hands on thos too and is only available in english and chinese. The OS has been grabbed from the chinese versions of the OnePlus 3 and 3T and therefore it will come with a bunch of chinese apps you should just delete.

Users who tried it report that it has a better battery life and that you now have an inbuilt call recorder. The ROM has about 1.3 GB and you can get it from XDA or OnePlus . Both Links include ways to get the PlayStore, and if you encounter any Problems, there are a bunch of threads at XDA already. Niantic announced that there will be a really big Pokemon Go Update this week, introducing new items and pokemon.

Acoording to a video posted by niantic there will be a new Update to pokemon go later this week, bringing us 80 new pokeon, new ways to e3ncounter them and some new Items to evolve your pokemon or berries to slow them down.The 80 new Pokemon that you encounter aere the next batch of the second generation after the baby pokemon have been added at the end of 2016. Will thios be enough to get you back into playing pokemon Go? I’m still doing it and i think this is a long overdue update. here is the Video posted by niantic.

In Adnroid 7.1 a couple new Emoji were added, but those are not nougat exclusive anymore, since whatsapp added them to the new Beta.

In the new beta version of the popular WhatsApp Messenger the latest unicode Emoji have been added, so now you can say even more things without typing anything. The new Emoji are more diverse than ever, including a bunch of new job emoji for bith men and women of different origins with quite a few skin colors added.

And if that was not good enough for you, note that there are other new emojis like a facepalm, some bacon and whisky. You can easily become part of the new Beta programm by signing up here .

Accodring to a Tweet from Stephen Hall, the 2015 Smartphones Nexus 5X and 6P will geht the Google Assistent.

Stepehen Hall , from 9to5Google, seems to have a neverending amo0unt of leaks. In his latest tweet he wrote that in a next major Update the 2015 Google Phones Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will get the new Google assistant. When this happens, those phones will be 2 out of 3 non-pixel devices that feature the googlke Assistant. The third one is rumored to be th LG G6.

It has not yet been confirmed which Update is meant, it could be Android 7.2 or we even have to wait for Android O. Maybe we will hear something at MWC 2017.

According to the german Facebook Page from HTC , the Update to the latest Android Software will start rolling out today for the HTC One M9.

All Users of the HTC One M9 , that use a non-branded Version, will start to receive the Update to Android 7 including Sense8 starting today. That is what HTC posted on their german facebook page. So if you own one just check it out. It comes as a suprise to me that HTC updates the M9 before the HTC 10, but i guess there is a strategy behind that we simply don’t understand. Well long story short: just go and get your Android 7 Update today.
