The korean times apparently knows the update schedules for the LG V10 and the G4

An unnamed korean official has reortedly toled the korean times that the popular 2015 phones, the LG V10 and the G4 will receive their share of Nougat this year. The LG V10 will go first in the second quarter, so some time from march to may, while the G4 will get the update in the third quarter , so some when from june to august. Initially there were no plans for updates for those devices, since there were compability problems, but it seems they have been sorted out. I assume that korea might be the first market that will get the update , but we have no word on that. I for one will be looking forward for the Update for my own V10.

Well Huawei is getting pretty big right now, but the update policy has not been great until now. The Huawei P9 is getting nougat this month.

So anyone who is using a Huawei P9 might have wondered when they will receive the latest Android update with the latest Version of EMUI . Thanks to the indian Twitter account from Huawei that question has been answered. The company tweeted that the Huawei P9 will receive the next update within Q1 2017 . This means that the Update will come out sometime this month for everyone around the globe. That is a pretty cool news for all P9 owners. If you’re one of them, please let us know as soon as the update arrives.

After the first three exclusive Google Assistant Devices, the AI now comes to a lot of Android M and N smartphones.

With the Pixel Smartphones Google announced their own personal assistant and in the beginning it was exclusive to those phones. Later with Android wear 2.0 the Google Assistant came to multiple smartwatches from different developers, and following that it came to the LG G6. Well the exclusivitiy is over since Google has startetd rolling it out to any Android M or N device in the US so far, other countries will follow. This video was posted earlier:

With this said at MWc questions rose who will get it when, this was said in this specific statement, which was published by Google.

The Google Assistant will begin rolling out this week to English users in the U.S., followed by English in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as German speakers in Germany. We’ll continue to add more languages over the coming year.

The Google Assistant will automatically come to eligible Android phones running Nougat and Marshmallow with Google Play Services.

So we just need to wait for our own personal Assistant. Since I’m based in germany it might take a while but you can be sure to check back here for a detailed look at the Google Assistant once it arrives on my V10.

Earlier today we spoke about the first render Image of the Samsung Galaxy S8, now we gut real pictures, from multiple angles.

So BGR got their hands on exclusive pictures of he upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, showing it from all sides expect the back. Thosxe Images confirm the rounded corners, a Micro USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm Headphone jack and the designated Buttons. We see on the front that the typical Android Buttons and symbols have been replaced by samsung ones. A view of the bottom shows us the connector and the Headphone jack. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be announced at the end of this month and we will hope to see more of it before that. But without further words, feast your eyes.

Looks like a pretty thin Device to me and something to really look forward too. I wonder if the rounded corners will remain in the Galaxy S8+ Variant and if the rumors of two different devices from each might be true.

Well the amonts of leaked renders and photos of the LG G6 won’t stop. This time it’s compared to last year’s G5.

In the picture above we see the two Devices right next to each other and the differences in screen size are stunning compared to the whole sizes. The G6 with its 5.7″ screen looks about the size of its brother with only 5.3″ . This provides you with more screen in the same form factor. In the image we also see that LG descided to go with rounded cornors in terms of their new design idea. The LG G6 won’t have the modular design that the G5 had and will come as a dust and waterproof device.

The Phone looks pretty good to me and I am anticipating the official announcement at MWC 2017.

Well after we’ve seen the pictures a few Days ago, a new case rendering shows us a bit more of the LG G6.

The guys fron Android pure just got their hands on some brand new case renders of the LG G6. These new images show us the G6 from all angles and in all its beauty. A few thing I noticed are the rounded corners at the screen and the very this bezel. On the backside we see the camera is spaced pretty wide apart and the vertikal flash is placed in between.

The Device shows a few differences to it’s predecessor , for once the modular bottom is gone, which I think was not a bad idea since that system needs some real overthinking. That the headphone jack has been moved to the top of the phone is pretty convenient too in my opinion, since it provides a better usage. On the sides we see two seperated volume keys instead of one rocker and the lock button seems to be back on the back. The slider on the right hand side might be for SIM and SD Cards. I’m personally really looking forward to the LG G6 and it’s presentation.

Well the Moto 5G from Motorola is not a well kept secret, and now an UK Carrier has listed the Device as available mid March.

Acoording to the latest leaks of the Moto G5 it will be available mid march in 2 color options. A UK Carrier , allegedly Clove, listed the 16 GB Version of the device in Gold and Grey as in stock at mid march. Considering the fact that the Device has not yet been officially announced this is very suprising. No pricing has been leaked yet but we will keep you updated.

In terms of specs the Moto 5G is a mid-range device featuring a 5-inch 1080 p Screen, powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and Andriod Nougat. In terms of RAM and storage two options might be available 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage, like shown in the tweet above, or a larger Version with 3 GB of RAm and 32 GB of storage. Additional Features are a 13 MP camera with dual LED flash on the back and 5 MP in the front. Even though we don’t clearly see one, a fingerprint sensor might also be there.

After all these are just rumors again, so stay tuned for anything MWC 2017 related will be posted to our site.

In Adnroid 7.1 a couple new Emoji were added, but those are not nougat exclusive anymore, since whatsapp added them to the new Beta.

In the new beta version of the popular WhatsApp Messenger the latest unicode Emoji have been added, so now you can say even more things without typing anything. The new Emoji are more diverse than ever, including a bunch of new job emoji for bith men and women of different origins with quite a few skin colors added.

And if that was not good enough for you, note that there are other new emojis like a facepalm, some bacon and whisky. You can easily become part of the new Beta programm by signing up here .

Accodring to a Tweet from Stephen Hall, the 2015 Smartphones Nexus 5X and 6P will geht the Google Assistent.

Stepehen Hall , from 9to5Google, seems to have a neverending amo0unt of leaks. In his latest tweet he wrote that in a next major Update the 2015 Google Phones Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will get the new Google assistant. When this happens, those phones will be 2 out of 3 non-pixel devices that feature the googlke Assistant. The third one is rumored to be th LG G6.

It has not yet been confirmed which Update is meant, it could be Android 7.2 or we even have to wait for Android O. Maybe we will hear something at MWC 2017.

A few weeks ahead of its launch we see another picture of the LG G6.

The picture above surfaced earlier today and shows the really glossy backside of the G6. After the early renders and the prototype we’ve seen a couple of days ago this is the first image of the new phone. The pictrue confirms a few rumors like the dual-camera setup we’ve already seen on the G5 and the V20 as well as the backside fingerprint sensor that LG has been using for quite a while now. I personally really like the positin and was a bit sad that the volume rockers have moved to the sides again, since i found that pretty convenient.

The really glossy style of this picture might usggest that the LG G6 might come with a really really polished plastic backside or a glass back. Of course there are still other options like ceramic or metal. Again we cann only assume and have to wait for official information at the release.
