After receiving dozens of Ideas, including Nutella, Google finally revealed the official Name for the New Android: Nougat.

So now it’s official that Android N will be named Nougat, but we don’t know yet if it will be 7.0 or 6.1 . What I, and most others, possibly have not expected is the fact that the big revelation happend on Snapchat. Earlier today Google shared a Video anouncing the Name. You can see the Video below. They mentioned that this Name was choosen from all the options that the community supplied sinc Google I/O 2016. Other Name suggestioins were Namey McNameface or Nutella. I personally wonder how moches votes those 2 got. The new Logo as seen above, is the little Droid standing on some Nougat bars, even though it would have also been looking good to make a little nougat Droid.
