The next step on our quest through the imaging World of Nokia, is the Lumia Selfie App. Let’s check what features it has to offer.

Even though I don’t like selfies ( I even dislike that word), we’re now going to check out the Lumia Selfie app on the Nokia Lumia 735. Before we’re going into the software let’s remember the Hardware that has been built in this device. The front facing camera has a 5MP Sensor with f/2.4 and a wide-angle lens, as well as 1080p Video Resolution. That is why the phone got nicknamed Selfie in the first place. So knowing that we’re now checking the app itself. At first glance everything looks like a regular UI for a front facing camera, the magic happens after you press the button.

The Selfie app has built in picture enhancement options, besides the regular red-eye correction and filters it also has… face correction. The picture above shows me before I started playing around with the digital surgery.

And now we see what happens when you play around with that Device. You can correct your Eyes, chin and even put a smile on your face afterwards. I think this is pretty neat. Of course after you’re done with it you can instantly share it to your preferred social media or just upload it to OneDrive for your personal enjoyment.
