According to their Website, Sega has plans to remove an unknown number of Android games from the Store.
In an earlier announcement Sega has informed the world that they evaluated their games that are available for the Android platform and came to the conclusion that some of them don’t meet their standards anymore. These games will be removed from the Google Play Store as well as the Amazon and Samsung stores. So far we don’t know which of the games will be removed, only that it will happen within the next few week. A shiver of hope has been added by Sega, saying that those games might return in an updated version. In terms of those people who already purchased the games that will be removed Sega added the following:
If you have already purchased a game that is being removed from the store you will be able to continue to play it after it’s been taken down. It will remain in your purchased apps where you will be able to download it again if you delete it or acquire a new device until the game becomes incompatible with the latest phone operating systems or hardware
As soon as we know more we will provide you with a list of the titles that will be removed.
