Well Huawei is getting pretty big right now, but the update policy has not been great until now. The Huawei P9 is getting nougat this month.

So anyone who is using a Huawei P9 might have wondered when they will receive the latest Android update with the latest Version of EMUI . Thanks to the indian Twitter account from Huawei that question has been answered. The company tweeted that the Huawei P9 will receive the next update within Q1 2017 . This means that the Update will come out sometime this month for everyone around the globe. That is a pretty cool news for all P9 owners. Another hour another leak before MWC, this time the Huawei P10 is shown in press renders.

The leading leak expert Evan Blass showed us the G6 eralier in a press render, now we get to see the Huawei P10. The images show us on the side that there will be a slot for the SIM-card so we can assume the back cover won’t be removable and that we could see a dust and water resistant device. It looks a bit more rounded up than the P9 but keeps the Leica powered double camera, which has been teased in several pictures so far. Aside from other flagships we cann still see the hardware home button, which i think is far overdone. Overall we see a nice phone with a matte finish on the back and a headphone jack at the bottom.

The Huawei P10 is something to look out for, since huawei has become quite the competitor in the recent market.

A new Rumor has emerged that Huawei will bring an upgraded Honor 8 to Barcelona, called the Honor 8 Pro.

A new rumor from russia claimes that the chinese Honor V9 will be rebranded for western markets as the Honor 8 Pro, packing a nice set of flagship worthy specs for, what we assume, an affordable price, siince that has been one of Honor’s things. Well lets talk a bit about the specs of the Device. If the rumors are true the Honor 8 Pro will feature a large 5.7″ QHD display, Kirin 960 processor, 4GB RAM (6GB in other markets), 3,900mAh battery, SD card support, dual rear-facing cameras, fingerprint reader, plus EMUI 5.0 on top of Android 7.0. I personally haven’t had the chance to play around with EMUI 5.0 or Android 7 yet , but from what i read here this could be quite a catch.

So what do you guys think about Honor and Huawei? I personally think the phones that i saw so far ( at IFA and the Customer Service Center) look pretty decent, so consider me exited for the press conference later this month.

A few days ahead of its reveal (26.2.2017) new peomo material emergs for the Huawei P10 Plus.

In the latest leaks we see the Huawei P10 Plus in its full glory. the Phone shows off some Galaxy edge style sides and the 3.5mm headphone jack. Let’s break it down some more, we get a 5.5 inch QHD display, with edged corners, RAm Variants of 4,6 and 8 GB and in terms of storage we get 32,64 and 128 GB. the device is powered by a Kirin 9620 core. We don’t know yet which personal assistant will be featured in the Device but we’ll know in the next few days.

The device will be announced at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona and we’ll be telling you anything we will know about it.

A new image emerged showing off the 3 available colors for the Huawei P10.

The Huawei P10 is to bei unveiled at the MWC 2017 in 2 weeks but as always there are a lot of leaks before an event like this. Today we get to look at the color options for the P10. We can see a blue, gold and green option. I guess they chose green to be different from the rest of the phones on the market. I’m really looking forward to this device and what else we’ll see at MWC 2017.

Earlier today Huawei has opened up their first Customer service Center here in Germany.

Well Huawei is one of the three big brands in the smartphone buisness, so now it’s a logical step to open up service centers. The first one in germany has been opened up today in Berlin. It’s located directly at the popular Alexanderplatz so it will attrackt customers and potential buyers even though they did not intend to do so.

I will definitely go there in the next few days, maybe even tomorrow to check it out for myself and i will provide you with my impressions after that. Here are some pictures Huawei posted on their facebook site , so you can see how the center looks.

Ahead of the MWC Event slides of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus have been leaked and confirm the prices and some specs.

As you can see on the Image above the Huawei P10 will come in 2 different Versions. Both will offer 4 and 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB storage. When recalculated to US Dollars the pricing of the Devices looks as follows:

• P10 4GB/32GB: ¥3,488 ($508) [3 colors]
• P10 4GB/64GB: ¥4,088 ($595) [6 colors]
• P10 6GB/128GB: ¥4,688 ($682) [9 colors]
• P10 Plus 4GB/64GB: ¥4,988 ($726) [5 colors]
• P10 Plus 6GB/128GB: ¥5,688 ($828) [5 colors]

The Huawei P10 is rumored to have a 5.5 inch screen with a 1440p resolution. The phones are powered by the Kirin 965 Processor and feature a Double-Camera setup from leica on the back with 12 MP each and in the front we will see an 8 MP camera. The differences of the phones will mostly be optical. For example the P10 will have a flat screen , while the P10 plus will feature curved edges.

The Huawei P10 and P10 plus will be revealed on the 26th of February.

According to Huawei , the Honor 6X will get Android 7.0 in March.

Well that was quite unexpected but it shows just how much Huawei cares. There has been official words that the Huawei Honor 6X will get the latest EMUI in March. EMUI 5.0 is Huaweis own UX based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It offers quite a few differences towards thd vanilla Google UI and Huawei says that it has been developed based on customer feedbacks.

I like it when a company listens to its customers and I hope I’ll be able to check out Android 7.0 for myself.

Huawei revealed a new Tablet, the Huawei MediaPad M2, but this happened in a little unconventional way.

Well usually we know that new products are going to be unveiled in a big or small Event, but at least with making some kind of commotion around it, unlike was the revealing of the Huawei MediaPad M2, which was just displayed at a pop-up Store in Paris.

Alright let’s talk specs here, the MediaPad M2 comes with an 8 inch FullHD Display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, which is a bit higher than the usual FullHD resolution. Inside the device runs a 64-bit octa-core Kirin 930 processor with 2GHz which is backed up by 2GB of RAM. We get 16GB of internal Storage on board and a microSD card slot to boost the storage if you need it. To fill up said storage you get an 8 Megapixel Camera in the back and 2 Megapixel in the front, both should be good enough to take care of your selfie and video chat needs. The 4800 mAh Battery inside the MediaPad M2 should last you through the day and it presumably also has the reversible charging, that we saw on it’s predecessor at MWC last year. Software wise we will see Android Lollipop 5.0 with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 strapped on top.

According to the source, the Huawei MediaPad M2 will go on sale in the next month, and you can get it in Silver, Gray and Gold. Well just like most tablets there will be two different versions of the MediaPad M2, WiFi only and WiFi + LTE. The WiFi only Version will be priced at 279€( around $311) and the WiFi+LTE Version will be 349€ (around $389).
