It’s only a few week until MWC and the Rumors are starting to pile up, now Sony seems to have quite a lot up their sleeve.

According to latest Rumors Sony might show off 5 new Xperia Phones at this Year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. In recent times there have been 5 codenames aroud , those are Yoshino, BlancBright, Keyaki, Hinoki, and Mineo. Some Sources say that the Yoshino might be a succesor to the Sony Xperia XZ Smartphone.

In terms of the specs we know a little bit about the Yoshino, or as it might be known to the publi Xperia XZ2. The specs include a 5.5″ 2560p display (4K), the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB of RAM and a new Sony IMX400 camera sensor. Therefore it will also feature the chip used in Samsung’s Galaxy S8.

As always, it’s just a Rumor so don’t take it as a fact, and we’ll see more of it as soon as the Event will take place.

The latest sony flagship device, the Sony Xperia Z4, was originally just intended for the japanese market, but new rumors state otherwise now.

Well the main reason for this rumor is the authority on leaks, @evleaks . He posted on twitter that the Apple iPad mini 4, the Sony Xperia Z4, LG GPad X 8.3 and the HTC Desire 526 are going to be available at Verizon wireless in the US. Since @evleaks was right most of the time when he was posting any leaks or tweeted about something, we might see the Xperia Z4 released in other markets as well. We still don’t know when and if the device will be released here and if the name remains the same, since there have been rumors that the Z4 could be called Z3+ in the european market. In my opinion that would be a wise move, since the optics are almost identical and the name Z4 would suggest a new flagship phone, but in the end the customer would be disappointed since it’s only a minor technical upgrade.

So far all of this are just speculations and we can’t untangle the knot that is the Sony Xperia Z4. Sony is making quite the mystery around the device and when and where it will be released. If more informations surface, we will let you know.

Sony has unveiled their new Flagship Device today, the Sony Xperia Z4, which is just a minor Upgrade.

Today sony has unveiled their latest Flagship Device, but unfortunately the Sony Xperia Z4 is not much of an Upgrade to it’s predecessor. The Xperia Z4 comes in the same Design line as the Z3 and even under the hood there is not that much improvement. The Xperia Z4 . Let’s start off with the main Facts, The Device is only 6,9mm thin and weighs in at 144 gramm, packed with a 5.2″-LCD screen and a 2930 mAh Battery, which is not replaceable. In terms of power we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU which is backed up by 3 GB of RAM. On the back you can find the same 20,7 MP Camera that the Z3 had, and you’ll find a MicroSD Card slot to expand your internal storage up to 128GB. For greater picture capabilities and in terms of duration the phone is certified with IPX5/8 and IP6X Standards, which means it’s dust and waterproof. And, as we seen from the Z3, the Sony Xperia Z4 will be available in 4 different colors.

If it matters to buy the Z4 or stick with the Z3 is something we can’t quite say yet since we couldn’t test the Device so far, but as soon as we can we will post it here. What might really be a good choice could be the potential Z4 compact that might follow the Z4, we will keep you updated on that front as well.
