Almost one month after David Schuster announced it, the first generation Motorola Moto X will get Android 5.1.

In the beginning of the Month Motorola’s David Schuster promised owners of the first generation Moto X, Moto E and Moto X with 4G that they will get an Update to Android 5.1, directly from the current KitKat State. Apparently the guys over at Motorola are delivering their promises fairly quick as some people in Brazil already got the OTA Update.

As everything is beginning to roll out we can expect a world-wide rollout at the beginning of may, but of course having a carrier branded phone could slow down the process for you.
